Default FLat4online problem

Anyone else had problems with recieving bits from Flat4online previously ?

Is it a common issue with them ?

I think we have worked out he keeps very little stock. I dont think he is a bad man I think he is just not running his business communications as best he could.
If its in stock then no problems. If its not then he will take the money and buy the part, You have to wait for it to come form Japan or wherever.
The problem people seem to have is he wont tell you if its a stock part or a back order when you order.
I save the hassle and buy elsewhere.

After all that my part (radiator cooling panel) came after 2 days, as promised. I've been lucky I suspect. Can't fault the service though.

We have a thread on these people nearly every week.

Maybe we should just have one thread as a sticky warning people off!

Never had any problems with them, everything I've ever ordered has turned up when stated. An induction hose was out of stock once so I was told it was due back in stock soon and would arrive shortly and it turned up 3 days later. Scott has replied to any e-mails I have sent as well.

I'm guessing you only really hear of the negatives, they do appear to get more complaints on here than other companies, but there must be plenty of happy customers too.

Thumbs down

Waited 3 months for my bits, I was told 2-3 weeks when I ordered which I could live with but when you get so far you begin to feel that someone is taking the mick. The lack of communication there after was what really got to me. You try and chase your goods which you have paid for and surprise surprise you get know where. The guy never even answers his phone, never replied to my email. I very nearly got to the point of paying him a visit then out of the blue the goods arrived. Never would I use again nor would I recommend anyone else wasting there time and hard earned. Customer service costs nothing but goes along way in my eyes.

Recently ordered a turbo install kit, and was mailed promptly to say it was in stock and being dispatched. Didn't arrive when it should so I contacted him an he promptly sent out another one which arrived the next day.

Don't know whether the first was lost in post / pilfered / something else but to be fair to the guy he sent a replacement very quickly and it arrived when he said it would.

Read about problems other people have had but it was good for me.
