Default anyone here use wheel spacers ?

anyone here use em to stop there wheels fouling the suspension or brakes ?

yep i use 10 mm one to stop me calipers fouling my brakes

yep hated using them and ended up getting new wheels, all the cars wieght ends up on the bolts and not on the hub if you are not carefull.

Not used wheel spacers on my Impreza, but ended up getting some for my Daihatsu YRV when putting new wheels on. In the end I went for 5MM H&R hub centric spacers, these come with longer replacement bolts and as the spacers are hubcentric ones means that they a more balanced for the wheel. Not cheap though.

not personally, would rather have the offset of the wheels be enough

id rather not hence me asking the question but ive now got a set of wheels all ready to go to the ring on wednesday and they are fowling the suspension,,,, so thinking of fitting 5mm spacers in a attempt to solve the issue

Yes, I have 3mm ones (I think) fitted to the rear due to me running 225 section tyres that just foul the struts. When I replace the tyres with 215 I'll be removing them.

As for them damaging wheel bearings - it's not usually an issue.

no thats true its the shearing off of the bolts that would be the problem, i have had this not on a scoob, but bloody scary
