Bit of a confusing statement.

I saw this guy on the news spout the virtues of not speeding, then heard it was his 3rd offence........

Apparently he thought apologising to the court and pointing out that a ban would cost him a lot of money would save him from a ban...

..I'm sure his wallet didn't mind other people losing their jobs with help from his little money making scheme.

Karma's a bitch. Just a shame he didn't get jail-time and then Bubba could have made him his "special" friend.

Not true, most would expect 6 points for this offence plus a fine, or 7-56 day ban and a fine. Depends on your circumstances, what happens in court, if you get a good solicitor. I would say he's been made an example of due to being his 3rd time and his position.

That will teach the tw@!

All we need now is for more of these clowns who say speeding is the root of all evil and only an across the board reduction in speed limits will save lives to get done and banned. Then the pc bunch of ******* that over zealously enforce our archaic motorway limits might begin to realise that limits set 50 years ago no longer apply to modern cars, and the concept of making progress might make a much wanted return!

Lets have what america have, and only allow people to cross roads in certain designated spots, that way we can educate children from a very young age that its wrong, and instead of blanket speed reductions all over town cos one stupid 13 year old ran infront of a car seven years ago, lets stop these people crossing the road ***** nilly.

Ive lost count of the number of times some snot nosed, number one all over, fake clothes wearing, no discipline little chavmonster aged about 5 just run out into the road, then you get dirty looks from the chav mum for daring to shout at her to control the little ****!

Same goes for old women who just walk out infront of you when your fifty yards infront of them, knowing full well i will have to stop cos it takes them literally 1 minute to cross the road, wait till ive passed ffs!

I think the driver is victimised far too much, its about time some responsibilty fell on the pedestrians as well, WATCH WERE YOUR GOING!

Yup, had this happen to me, i was looking for a property so going slow anyway. The skinny tatooed chav dad came out and layed into me with the usual you where speeding im gonna have you, etc. I was tempted to slap the clown but no on his territory in the middle of where him and his ferral mates live.

I smiled and kept sthum, i wanted to so badly smack the fool but drove off with hi still yelling what a bad lad he was and how i was going to get beat!
