Default wrong spoiler???

purchased a hi level spoiler off a guy from here who told me it would fit all classic imprezas, well i received it then sent it off to for spraying (damn good job he has done on it aswell)

Problem is i just went out to look at fitting it and it doesnt sit good at all and now im 99% it doesnt fit all classic imprezas as im sure its meant to fit better than it does.

What do you think?

Could be up for sale very soon

Amusingly enough I have a Version 4 (Classic) currently in transit from Japan with a spoiler like this too. I guess the previous owner may have taken it off of a bug eye. But I don't think it looks that bad. It would make my car look a bit diff from all those other scoobys here wearing pretty much the same spoiler.

well maybe im just being too picky with the way it looks then but it didnt sit flush on the bootlid at all and the sides dont look right either.

Oh well... You may have a point.. Maybe it was some kinda knockoff spoiler in the first case... dunno...

I guess I'll have to wait till my car gets here and see how it looks with the spoiler in real life.

I thought it looked ok in the pics above but i can see where its different and comes down further over the boot and isnt quite as flush. Apart from that its not too bad, i think they look better with a brake light on them too.

Yeah I can see the issues there. Just look at some pics of mine. It's a bit diff at the bottom, looks a lot more flush than that and sits nicely on the trunk.

That looks like a morette newage copy with a piece that swoops lower down the bootlid in the middle (an original morette has a brakelight in the bottom section)....What has the seller said ?

Well it did fit, but not properly!
Is the guy a trader or was it a private sale?

afraid it didnt fit at all, the pics show it balanced on the boot lid, a gust of wind could knocked it off as it was so wobbley and didnt sit flush at all.
