Default Back behind the wheel

FINALLY after a year and a half without a scooby on the drive we have finally got another ,a little cracker she is my06 sti with a ppp ,my god is it a lot faster than the old wrx ,thought there would be a bit of difference and when i went out with the salesman caution is the watchword ,mmm i thought its very nice and quite torquey ,bought it went out on my own and thought mmmmm must get some stronger pants and something to clean my seat with my god its like chalk and cheese !!! anyhow i do have a little question to go with this and its does anyone know of a good drivers course to go on to help with getting the best out of my car safely in the real world not a track im in the south yorks derbyshire area has anyone done one or recommend any if it helps to lower insurance it would be a plus

Hi chevnjayne ... You do know that you can get an advance driving licence ?
It will bring down your insurance as well a bit.

Not sure if this is the kind of thing you mean , But have a look . It might point you in the right direction if nothing else
I hope someone else can be more help to you as its been yearssss ago since I did mine
