Default Finaly got rid of the Scooby

This was my forth Scooby and definatly the last one.though i may get tempted for a cheeper turbo..

Bought the MY03 STI with Mods and 25k on the clock for £13200. Had the suspension upgrades done...and sold 9 months later for £8300 with 35k!

Still have the M5, though thats going up for sale now..as i can not afford the £3k insurance!

for a 5 y/o second hand car that is a big drop, especially considering the cost when brought!

35% of its value in a year - shocking but a sign of the times, 3K for M5 insurance bleeding 'ell!

You mean that the 15% of the price you paid is VAT and goes straight to the government, that's not depreciatioon, it's taxation!

I feel your pain, I took a massive hit on MY02 STi. Hope you find a car that works for you. I ended up getting a V1 for fun as my on the side car.

I have been without a scooby for just over a year now, the fuel savings and insurance were great going to a new lancer Gs4 diesil, but we are still missing the impreza and next change will probably see us with another scooby. Just hoping they alter the shape of the hatch I'm still not fond of it !!
