Some sense please
I'm ditching my 18" black oz supperlegs, and im after something from ultralite/buddy club etc, for my P1. It's got the Prodrive Alcon 4 pot brakes. Now every dealer iv'e spoken to have given me differing advice, as to fitment. Some saying ultralite wont fit but buddy club will and visa versa. Can anyone PLEASE PLEASE, give me a deffo yes the will, no they wont.

Is it not just a case of choosing the right offset?
Are you staying 18s or going to 17s? Not suggesting I'm a particularly handy wheelman and can feel every nuaunce, but I don't like the feel of 18s.
Oh, and as for the Alcons, I thought they were no different in position to the normal 4 pots so if the wheel fits the 4 pots it should fit with the Alcons

A decent supplier should be able to give you the information you need to measure the clearance between the spokes and the Alcons.
If you pay by credit card, and they don't fit you have them completely shafted.

P.S. You could buy one on a try and buy basis if they double pack it to avoid damage, and you pay both sets of postage. Doesn't need a tyre fitting to check the clearance.

I actually suggested that myself. But the aswer was astraight NO, lol. Trouble is all the stockists are either end of the country from me, and the only place by me is wheelmania. I'm no snob but im deffo not a Chav either. So stuff that place.
