Question Can Anyone Recommend A Good Uprated Up Pipe?

Hi Guys,

I've got a classic Impreza with a set of equal lengh headers, thing is the kit came with a flex joint up pipe.

Not the worst bit of kit in thw world, but I've just noticed the start of a very small blow and rather than repair it or replace it with another flex joint up pipe, I'd rather fit a one piece slip or slip jointed up pipe.

But I have two questions, which is best a slip joint up pipe or a one piece?

Secondly can anyone recommend me a good one to buy, the below has been recommended to me as a good bit of kit, but it seems an awful lot of money for a 1ft bit of tubing, or am I just being tight?

A slip jointed up-pipe properly made will relieve the exhaust manifold of strain and tension from the heat cycling resulting from continual expansion and contraction from stop start motoring. Obviously the solid uppipe cannot relieve the stress and strain.
The best uppipe for your application will depend on the turbo and headers in use.
I have a range of uppipes for particular applications and all come slip jointed with new Subaru studs and are DEI heat wrapped and ready to fit. £139 which I think represents very good value for money. We also swap uppipes here for a fixed charge of £75.
