There's a guy around here who has M4 on his Range Rover.
Peugeot Eccose used to have T44STY on their modded silver 206 with the GTI-6 lump, and I've seen a Lotus Elise with B11 BYE as well.

I've seen FVC 1T on a Volvo estate knocking around the bottom end of the M40 quite a few times.
S1NGH is another regular sight.
The Chief Constable of Warwickshire Police has (or at least used to have) 999 FWD on his Jag. IIRC it is now on a traffic car
I wonder if my force would cough up for A1 COP for the front of mine.....

Light hearted question, what are the best number plates that you have seen?
To start the ball rolling I saw PER50N on a Golf and I used to have P16 ONK on my pug (now on retention)...

I remember seeing a tatty old white transit a few years ago. If I'd had the money at the time, I'd have made them an offer.

A 110 WME - Written 'ALLOW ME'
on a 911 in Bermondsey.......
A thread last week mentioned PEN 1 S or summat - I saw PEN 15 on a pink Ford Anglia in Balham (but this was 1994 so its probably been sold on by now for big bucks)
Mind you, who'd pay big bucks to have ***** as their number plate??

Seen advertised on a Mattig Astra (oh dear) years ago: A 6 GRO (AGGRO, geddit). Don't know what happened to the car but the plate ended up on a Lamborghini Countach that lives near me.

There's a BMW convertable in my street with the plate
M3 BMW
How much is that worth. I reckon the plates worth more than the car.

Have spotted these that I can recall:
AUD1 on an Audi, strangely enough!
Local VW Dealership has VW1 on a Beetle.
Both of those must be worth a bomb!
L4PAU, on a Dodge Viper which read LAP 4 U.I guess that belongs to a Table Club owner.Or perhaps one of his dancers!
DEM111Y, on Selwyn Demmy's Roller
5WRT on a Scoob @ Pembrey Service Halt, Network Q 2000.Did I hear that belongs to a certain Mr Lapwoth?
S111RTS, on an XK8 spaced and drilled to read SHIRTS.
