Exhaust question?
hello there i would just to ask if a 3inch system is backed with a back box that has a 2inch or even slightly less than that bore, what sort of restriction would this cause? would it stop the car from gaining power and make the engine work harder?
thanks
thanks

Sorry Kareena, I read that 3 times and couldn't make out what you were asking. Something about a backbox having 2 different bore sizes inside it and the restrictions?
Explain it again and you may get more of an answer

Any large step up or down in diameter will affect the gas flow, but as you are probably shy of 400 bhp, this won't be particularly deterimental to your car's performance.
Not ideal, but it's not going to "choke" your car that badly, imho.
dunx
P.S. Biggest problem will be attaching it !
