Hi,
Anyone got one (or had one)? Didn't have much luck with this in the Technical section so I thought I'd try here instead:

Just got myself a nice Bailey's Motorsport DV26 EVO dump valve. Second Hand but in good nick.

Before I shell out for a fitting kit, has anyone got experience of fitting these units? Tips advice etc would be interesting. Do you really need the fitting kit? Have you got one you want to sell or a home made one etc.

Thanks in advance

Just had one fitted this morning by the top chaps at Listers of Worcester....
On full boost and lift off theres a serios woooooosh and a big flame out the back...
On lower boost and lift off it gives a slight chatter and warble like the Group A cars give
Seriously impressed

blimey - flames out of the Back eh? What exhaust system do you have? What are the effects on performance if any?

Sounds like I should get it fitted a.s.a.p.

thanks,

Robin

I have a de-cat Rock n Beat 3.5 inch system with a 5 inch tail... it used to spit before but now I can see reflections in headlamps and number plates of cars following me...

i have one of these...its awesome.

you can use the 'old' pipes and fittings off your OE D/V i would have thought......or get some Silicone pipe/hose to make it look even better.

the sound is like no other!

if tiy want PIX Email me..it may give you an idea how to fit etc!

Richard,
What year and model roo do you have?
I have been trying for ages to get those mystical flames from my Sti v5, now have a decat exhaust from the turbo, optimax and millers and now forge vent to atmo.

Unhappy

There's another thread somewhere I read where the guy fitted a Forge DV and was gutted by it's quiet performance.

Perhaps you need a Bailey's DV instead

You could try the old 'Mike Rainbird stick a spark plug up your exhaust trick' It worked for him (until it fell out in front of Stef and his video cam at the 'Ring)
