might be ok for a std car, will NOT be suitable for a 2.5 i doubt, IMO only though!

ACT Clutches are supposed to be very good, well I hope they are as I have brought one for my 2.5 build lol

I`ve bought one from Awesome Imports as they told me it`s good for upto 350bhp and they use them on the majority of their cars.

No, it's fine if you have a standard car, it's a standard replacement clutch.

Yep, agree with darms, i have the modified Api exedy clutch, with Api flywheel which they mod themselves, good for 400bhp, i love it!
The grey/blue boxed exedy diakin clutches are a direct STANDARD replacement, good for a stock car, not modified.

There was a very, very long thread on here last year about just-cluches. All out warfare. If I remember correctly exedy wouldn't guantee these clutches as they were made for a customer and couldn't guantee they were uprated at all. A search would probably find the thread.

There's been a whole load of hassle with supposed ' Exedy ' clutches failing quite soon after fitting. Genuine Exedy are some of the very best in the world and l very much doubt that the ones that fail are the real thing, despite being in 'Exedy' boxes.
probably Chinese copies or something.

APi Exedy's are supplied by APi Japan and we never have complaints about quality or performance or durability.

Give me a call on Monday and l'll sort you out.

Good luck - David APi
