Default What is an Impreza Lea??

Hi there iam a Newbie on here and the site looks good

I have a 2006 2lt STI PPP which i have just bought after selling my Motorbike engined MNR 7 rep kitcar.

A friend of mine has mentioned a Impreza Lea special addition only 300 made and i have never heard of one!!!

What is it spec/performance etc was it a tuned WRX or STI

Thanks

It was a R1 Yamaha,i miss it a bit now but it was totally impractical with two young kids and a wife.

Blooming quick though,my Scooby is putting 320bhp out and that wouldnt live with it to 100mph.

Know what you mean about missing it! I built a Westfield with a 'blade lump back in 2001. No good with 2 kids & Mrs though! I'm hoping to do another one day, when kids are a bit older. 'My' scoob can't quite match the neck strain and bruised hips after a track day in a bike engined car! 0-60 in 3.9? YES PLEASE! Mrs and kids in the back, er no....haha

If it's a GB270, it's a limited edition WRX. Easier to drive faster maybe due to a smaller turbo boosting sooner. Shouldn't keep up with an STI PPP but shouldn't be much in it.
