Nurburgring - Best time to go? Which Hotel? Anyone ever camped there?
Is May the best time to go? Would June or July be better?
Is the Ringhaus the best hotel to stay in? What sort of rates were you paying per night for a twin room in Euro’s?
Has anyone camped at the ring before? If so how was it? Were you close to your car overnight and the ring? Did you have to book a camping spot or just turn up and pitch up camp!?
Matt.

We've been here before. Great place, really friendly, free schnaps on a regular basis!
***onRoad Cafe Motorsport Treff/Hotel am Nürnburgring***
Based at Adenau which is just up the road but gives you a few options for evening entertainment.

Best hotel? Well the Dorrint is a 4* hotel but also expensive. I've stayed at the Blaue Ecke in Adenau for a few years. Not the cheapest at €50 per person per night based on 2 sharing a room but I've always been well looked after. There are plenty of hotel and guesthouses in the area.
I've camped a few times at Camping Am Nurburg. €12 per day (not per night) so sometimes a guesthouse is cheaper. You can't book, you just turn up.
Keep an eye on the TF calender here: Nürburgring - Nordschleife

zurburg are taking the **** with prices these days IMO so aint staying there this year, HONESTLY id recomend staying in adenau instead as theres a bar there for the evening and also thats where to get a good meal too in the evening

Blaue Ecke / Comfy Corner then on to the Brauhaus for drinks until silly o'clock. I stumbled out of there gone 4am the other weekend.

never answer email, never know that you are booked (or not) until you arrive there, bar shut at random times.
Burgstube Nürburg - Hotel at the Nürburgring - +49 170 8080256 is a far better option - stayed there a couple of times and it is superb and right on the steps of the nurburg castle for great views
