Hey,
Just had me front discs and pad replaced with some grooved discs from CRN and some mintex pads. When Im reversing and apply the brake I get a Squeeling noise.

Is this normal or will it go when pads are run in.

i got mintex 1155 pads and they give a almighty squeal when reversing, its to do with the air and vibration in the other direction as the pads are designed not to squeal forwards

just ignore it as most cars will tbh with harder compound pads when reversing, if it does it when forwards then it wont in reverse is the other way to look at it

squeal aint damage, its vibration amplified though the cars disks or its the air passing though like blowing into a blade of grass, either way its just anoying
