Usual Toyo T1-r's are good all rounders, Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's (if you can get them), Falken 452/912's have a good rep according to the tyres guy at Camskill. Would also suggest the Vredestein Ultracs too.

As for the Federals.... http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Fe...UPER-STEEL.htm ....think I'd give them a miss personally.

Grid reviews - tyre reviews, ratings and road tests for all car, bike and trackday performance tyres

FWIW, Rainsport 2's, Sessanta's or F1 Assy's. For reasonable money, Toyo's. On a budget, Falken, Khumo, Federal or Hankook. If you're a corner monster like me, RE070's

I'm tempted by the Vredestein Sportrac 3, @ £42 a corner from Camskill. The review on there is bloody good. Need 2 new rears on the Pug but can't find GSD3's for decent money in 195/50/15.

Apologies for hijack - it's Daves fault

Cheers for the replies, have read many good things about the vreds but wasn't sure if you could get the sants in a 215. Thought 225 was the smallest, so will have to do a bit of ringing round.
