Question

Help!
MY00 turbo.
When the damn thing has been running for an extended period on motorways then I slow down (maybe coming off the motorway) the blasted thing often stalls. Even if I switch the engine off for a few minutes then start it unless I rev. the bllcks off it quickly it dies. This never happens if it has been running just an hour or so. It nearly always start first time.
Any ideas on what would cause this?

Wink

Just an uneducated guess at the MAF Sensor getting dirty/contaminated with oil?

(now BTTT and hopefully someone with the knowledge will tell you for sure).

My old MY99 did that, it was a faulty Lambda sensor.
Was replaced under warranty.

Thank you Guys for your ideas. I will pass them by the Garage, who offered no suggestions as to the cause!
