and other additives for there Scoob,is there much point running these to boost the Ron level in a UK car?Cause surely they is mapped for NUL?Or 97ron?
Also about Optimax..does it really make your Scoob go better?I would have thought you need around 10/20 bhp to notice a performance increase..surely you all talking out your bottoms
if you beleive any of this addiditive stuff,98.6 ron fuel makes a difference.....get a chip or a Cossie,that's where performance comes from...

Sort of reply I expected from such a muppet. 
You expect sensible replies when you say we are talking out of our bottoms????
My UK Turbo runs far smoother and I get more MPG from SUL and even better again from Optimax.. pick up is slightly better too..
The ECU retards the ignition when it notices knock etc.. so by putting the better fuel in there is less chance of knock so less chance the ignition will be retarded.
I feel it is more of a garrentee you will get the power when you put your foot down, rather than a huge increase in power. Just my hubble opinion.
I really didn't expect it to make much difference when I started running on it but it is noticable. Mainly low down the revs which is where my car was lacking for everyday driving as it has the earlier TD05 turbo, which has more lag being bigger etc..
When are you going to bit the bullet and buy a Scooby... you know you want one!

Ima,
Running NF brings the octane to as close as the jap spec fuel rating as is possible. This means that these cars rated at 280bhp will actually make near as damn it that power, instead of the 260 that they would otherwise be making on our s h i t fuel.
Don't forget that all STis make the quoted 280bhp on 100+ octane fuel. They don't in this country without NF or a re-map / performance mods.
Hope this helps, as you won't get a sensible answer from the people that think you belong permanently in the muppet forum!

Ima what happened to the southend 3 are the doing you lot or what?
I use millers octane boost, not because i think it will give me any more power, just so that I know im getting at least 97ron.
