Nasty mate. I feel for you. Hope they catch the c*nts and beat them to death. At least they didnt have to beat you or your family up to get the keys

I doubt I'll see it here in Cambridge but I will keep my eyes peeled none the less.

Simon.

Sorry to hear about this.

Unfortunately I believe this is all too common in the Manchester area at the moment. I seem to remember hearing that there are several so called professional gangs working in the Manchester area specialising in this sort of theft and the good old carjacking.

I must admit I do worry about my wife who drives her Scoob through Manchester every day to and from work.

I hope they catch the thieves although with the UK policing policies of catching speeders only while violent crime continues to escalate that's unlikely I'm afraid.

Regards,

tiggers.

only problem with not having the remote with the keys is, that if they do want the car they might come looking for it!! At the end of the day I know what I about to say is harsh and I hope it never happen to me coz I'd be heart broken, but atleast you and your family was not hurt!

It's a sad day when you say at least I was lucky that all they took was my car!!

If your've see the papers it's been getting worse I've seen car jacking happen right in front of my eyes and it's really scary that it could happen to any one at any time, but it's even worse when they break into your home!!

I feel for you and I hope you get the car back in one piece and the little bar stewarts are caught!!

they need to be linched.

These people provide nothing to society, they just leach off it, sucking and draining all that is good fom it.

Dont lock them up, just linch them.

Sorry to hear about that mate I'll keep an eye out for it.

I got broken into two weeks ago but the scum didn't have chance to get the keys or damage the scooby. The police warned me about six professional gangs "working" in the NW, especially around manchester. Apparently police patrols are being stepped up - I'll beleive it when I see it.

How about just parking outside your neighbours house and sleeping sound ? They can search for as long as they like

Eyes peeled.

Edited to say : Don't list every 'mod' or the thieves may be able to return it to original unsuspicious spec.

Quote:Apparently police patrols are being stepped up!!!:
The police dont give a S"£t about this sort of crime, all most of them want to do is sit in a nice warm office,or be out speed trapping everywhere.

It really pi%%es me off, when people like Gazza have saved and looked after their cars only for some complete T"!Ts come and steal it..

Thats It,lets get a MOB together and give these Bas$£"ds a real good beating, non of this arresting then realeased bulls^%t because they havnt done it before.Give em a real good kicking

on another note,i dont support the IRA but they have a real good way of stopping joyriders and car thiefs(you know what it is

Lets get Tony Blair to get his head out of his own **** and do something for this country, give Criminals more time, take all their colour tvs/sky etc out of their cells ,Its prison for christ sake its meant to be punishment not a holiday camp!!!!

Sorry for ranting but It pi££"s me off when people steal other peoples property.

Gazza, hope they get the SKUM,if you find them please let the Scoobynet community know and we'll pay em a visit

There is a solution. Fit a Trackstar.

For £23 a month over 3 years at 0% apr, how can you afford not to? It's not even the cost of a tank of petrol.

I have no ties with the RAC/Trackstar people but I do sleep at night.

Regards.

Sorry to hear that Gazza
but which area of manchester ie oldham do you come from as this will give a better chance of us knowing if we have seen it today (i unfortunately havnt as ive been stuck in doors )
In some ways let this be a warning to people its not Gazza's fault but you have to be alert for people following your car home etc and a tracking device is a must IMHO for a car of this nature (how did you get away with one cos i have to have one as std on my insurance policy in an M postcoded area!)
Theiving scum thou but its probably going to be used for ramraids rather than getting sold on to anyone but if they are silly enough to advertise it in the autotrader etc you should have a chance of getting her back (and if you do get the blackjak fitted ok?)

Police phoned today to say that it has been found and recovered. They are dusting it down for finger prints. Garage said there doesn't seam to be any damage to it.

Excellent news!

Glad the car has been found and hopefuly returned to you undamaged and glad you were not attacked for the keys etc in the first place.

I really think that it is time for a webcam with a transmitter on the dash!... getting cheaper and cheaper... nice mug shot!

Goodluck in keeping hold of it from now on.

Glad to hear you've got the car back and the garage said it's fine.

I had a motorbike stolen years ago and the Police said they'd found it and it's ready to collect. Little thugs had made **** of it, but the Police said nothing about that. (Not trying to put a dampener on things)!!

Hope they find the thieves as quickly now!
