#1 (permalink) Is this the badger for removing the head unit out of a classic Scoob UK MY00, if it isn't where can I get one?

CD/RADIO REMOVAL KEYS / PINS - £1.39 - FREE DELIVERY.* on eBay, also Ford, CD Headunits MP3 Players, In-Car Entertainment GPS, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 06-Mar-09 13:57:29 GMT)

Or would i be able to just use 4 pieces of wire and stick them down the holes to release the catches?

Many thanks

When I removed mine I went to the local stereo place gave a bloke a £5 and he had the head unit out in about 4 seconds.
That was the easiest way for me, Chances are a helpful young lad at halfords will sort you out in his lunch break if there's a drink in it for him.

But in answer to your question I have no idea what the product code is for the proper badger, try a coat hanger or some skinny wire.

my head unit was screwed in..... look for gauge fitting guide in tech area, After pissing around for about an hour using different tools as per a usual stereo. I noticed it was screwed in like a hard disk into a PC.
