They have a black V5 STI that I quite like the look of. Anyone know anything about them?

Yep they are in Wednesbury not too far from me.
-£5000 don't bother + £5000 they have some ok cars
Tried to sell me a Skyline R33 GTST for £4995 complete with 'Fast Car' stickers on the inside, rusty rear arches, dents, bleed valve, torn drivers seat, glue on the dashboard etc

Hmm, they are asking 4895 for the V5 STI.
I've searched here and elsewhere found mostly good but a few negative comments. Still interested but its a long way to go for me if the car turns out to be a dog.

Check out the red wrx for nearly 3k, wtf is that bonnet.
They seem to be like keighley, lots of imports that have been modded (mostly badly) by young japanese owners!
These sort of people tend to look after the mechanicals, but stick gauges and stickers to everything, a few stick cages in aswell.
If the sti has been done properly, i.e no boost hoses on the dash, nothing unrepairable drilled, proper pods etc then you might be ok, if theres gauges with no pods, hoses everywhere etc, its been done on the cheap and apply that mindset to the rest of the car!

SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI V5- Auto Trader UK
This is the autotrader add for the car. Looks OK but then you can't tell from a photo. See what comes back from my email to them.

That V5 sti looks ok from the photos but like all cars you never know until you look at it closely/test drive etc.
Im not saying all their stock is cack but ive been to Keighly Tade centre (unfortunatley) and like them under the four/five grand mark some of their stock is ropey.
That red WRX is a prime example, why would someone f*ck up a decent car.
Don't forget they've bought their stock cheaper than what they're selling it for........

I might go fo a wonder in there just for the crack as its only a 15 min drive for me. Some of the stock must be right tatty ****e. I remember 'Auto Panache' in Wednesbury from many years ago. Plenty of quality cars back then, same principle, bring in as many as you can from Japan and wing them in a disused warehouse!

Haven't had a reply yet so might give them a call. Not too fussed as I'm not sure I like black

I've got a slim possibilty of a car that I've wanted for ages, if that doesn't happen I'm thinking of taking a break. Might just wait until my old car appears on PH and see if it worth buying back.
