I am interested in buying an electric buffer to polish my car. Does anyone have any experience of using them? Are they any good? What is the cost?
Please help as I have a week off work and can't be bothered to use my hands!!!.

Cheers.

If you don't like polishing by hand then I suggest you get one. Some even work off your cigarette lighter socket. Personally I like to buff up using good 'ol elbow grease, but I am told electric buffers do make a fantastic consistant job of it. Very important if you own a dark coloured car.

I bought one with about a 10inch diameter. Plugs into your *** lighter. They're excellent at applying polish but pretty poor at bringing up a decent shine.
Being quite rigid, it's not the best for bits like MY01 wheel arches etc as it just cant get into grooves.
To sum it up....its good for my Pug but never used it on my Scoob
