Default fitted dump valve , now get a slight pop or backfire ? what can it be ?

worked out that when i fitted the dump valve and chacnged the panel filter i didnt clip the box down properly . so i now have corrected this . but the car does a slight pop on over run sort of ? its had to explain . its not a bang and it aint like a rs turbo popping in the exhaust , it more like a dull pop sound . almost like a pop in the air box ??

it aint pinking .

but what is it . why is it doing it .
and most importantly , will this pop cause any damage ????

any imput etc will be great

Overfuelling due to metered air 'escaping' through the Vent-to-atmosphere dump valve.
