First weekend with Scooby...
Hi..
After waiting nearly three to collect the car I picked my scooby up from RRH im hampshire on Saturday...the car is a UK 2003 STI
What I liked...
1.) The Exhaust note - Car has a Afterburner backbox and to me it sounds perfect - exactly how I imagine a scooby to sound.
2.) The gear box - OMG that's fun flick of the wrist still getting the gear change down to a fine art - Gear changes at speed are a bit jumpy down to me though not the car.
3.) Grip in the corners on twisties - it like a freaking go-cart...
However it doesn't feel as quick as my old 200sx in a straight line, but that was running nearly 300bhp and scooby it standard and more body roll then old 200sx but sx had whiteline Anti-roll bar and Apex Coilover again scooby is standard.
4.) MPG but I suppose I can't moan about that lol...
All in all fantastic car - I will definately be getting tweaked up to 330ish and suspension etc to get rid of the body roll in hard corners...

If you can push to £350, get the rear ARB, the ALK and a good geom. You'll carry that much speed through the corners that will make you forget about the straights.
