Showroom condition inside and out but only problem is scratches, bit of a contradiction unless it's a dodgy showroom
Saying that though it does look very nice and spec sounds good too, don't think it's a bad price really for the spec etc

lloks a nice spec, no mention of who built the engine though, but he wont get anywhere near that asking price, maybe 7ish max (even if it is worth more than that). selling is a fools game at the min

"Please remember this car's modifications are ready for a remap and will boost power to take it up to 400 bhp safely. "

What I don't understand is why would you spend all that money on the engine build and then not remap it?

Looks like a lovely car but it is a lot of money

selling is not a good game at the moment, i lost 8k in 19 months on my 330 sport convertible and it was going down in the glasses guide every month by a few hundred quid.
I got my v5 Type R with a 2.5 engine for 6.5k, do really like the look of this one though, i think if your looking specifically for a Type R and have no intention of selling for a while and have the money to spend then it's worth a look, thats my view on things and is what i have done

I bought my V5 type R for 5k with 28k on the clock at xmas she needs a few minor bits doing and a little bit of paint in a couple of places (stonechips in the rear arches and a scrape on the front bumper plus the edges of the boot lid, 10 years in the uk for you!) but i would rather have her than a very overpriced v6 (which you will probably find needs a few k spending on her )

Price is a bit high in the current climate, but a stunning motor nevertheless.
Never knew that you could get a Type R in DBM

I picked up on quite a few contradictions by the seller. Got to agree on the remap too. And in fairness it is way over priced IMO.
I do like the Type R, but I am probs going to look into buying my mates P1.

Because it's been taken back to standard, would be my guess, since you wouldn't bother with fpr and 2.2 forged rebuild if you didn't also have bigger turbo and remapped ecu.

Could still be ok, but you'd need independent confirmation of the engine rebuild and would need to spend a thousand on ecu/remap, plus 1-2k on bigger turbo, injectors, headers etc to make the most of that engine.

Last year my rebuilt, Apexi-remapped 50k-mile sti6 ra lim cost just over 7k, for comparison.
