Default subaru impreza wagon wrx sa?

hi
wonder if someone can help looking to upgrade my daily driver to an impreza wagon seen one in the local garage ,its a auto wrx with sa sticker on the back?
it didnt have bucket seats or any rear spoilers is this a wagon equivalent of an ra? dealer said it was special edition 280 bhp version does anyone know if its just a standard wrx or something different?

i have 1 but manual an told thay only have 220psi which i was told is about 217bhp i was also told thay have lighter wings an bonnet but im not sure

certainly not 280bhp, they were just a cheap model iirc, gc8 simon would be the best to answer this as he explained it to me once a whilst back.

The WRX SA was a cheap lower spec model introduced when the 'Wagon was launched. Its a WRX 'Wagon without a rear spoiler and with some other features deleted. This made it a little lighter, but it was lighter because the expensive bits werent there. NO Impreza has aluminium wings or boot lid skins, theyre just very cheap and thin steel. As James has said, it has a 220PS engine, the same as any other early 'Wagon. I would add that they have a steel bonnet, but Ive come across enough cars now which buck the convention to feel that Subaru sometimes used what was to hand. It certainly shouldnt have an expensive aluminium bonnet, as this would increase the cost and it was money they were cutting, not weight, that was simply a by-product.
