What's it Worth? - Version 3 STi Wagon 1996 - Let me know your thoughts :-)
Hi all,
Just wanted to get everyones opinion on what you think my car is worth? Going for a E36 M3 Saloon or E39 M5, used to have a E36 and fancy another for some luxury, no comments please I still have Jap Cars don't worry
Right, current car/spec:
1996 Version 3 STi Wagon (Import) - 99,000 miles
Owned for 3 Months, spent a small fortune on her with receipts:
Now runs really well and offers good reliability, I think the fact the above have been replaced is a good selling point as offers piece of mind. Spent around 1.5k on the above (parts/labour) although I run a business in the motor trade so can get cost, would have been near £2500.00 normally.
Also added/done:
Everything above unless stated is pretty much brand new, well 3 months old. Paintwork is good, few car park dings here and there but overally good for age. Love the car I just fancy something else to play with (I'm a Leo, little impulsive and swap cars like underpants).
Obviously standard STi spec including:
STI EMBROIDERED BUCKET SEATS, STEERING WHEEL AND CLOCKS
RED TOP STI ENGINE WITH LARGER IHI TURBO AND FORGED INTERNALS
CLOSE RATIO STI GEAR BOX
STI SUSPENSION
STI 4 POT FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS
LARGER STI REAR SPOILERS
STI FOG LAMP COVERS AND REAR LIGHT PODS
LARGER STI ALLOY INTERCOOLER
STI CARBON FIBRE STRUT BRACE
WIND NOISE DEFLECTORS
ORIGINAL IMPREZA OVERMATS FRONT AND BACK (replaced with HKS)
LAMCO OEM COLUMN MOUNTED BOOST GUAGE
OEM REAR WINDOW TINTS
Also came with: ADDZEST CD AND MINIDISC SYSTEM & HKS TURBO TIMER
Their are ones on ebay at the moment, well two that range from £3000.00 to £4250.00 which are imo quite tatty and not the nicest but I wanted to see what you guys/gals thought considering what has been done? I know it is hard to recoup what has been spent same goes with any car but any suggestions/recommendations welcome. I think it will be popular as I've done all the things so you won't have too!
Couple of pictures for you, and don't worry company graphics will be removed and it won't effect the paint rest assured!
I like to think it's tastefully done, looks pretty standard but goes really well. I'm a bit of a grandad these days and have my toys for the weekend so wanted to retain some originality!
Thanks,
M

Scooby Regular
If your in the motor business what are you asking us for? said in a nice way
If you want to still have the car in the summer 4K if you want it gone 3K
Personally I would put back to original ECU and sell the simtec seperately.

I'm a Toyota specialist check the graphics Just wanted to gauge opinions really and a good way to maybe get some interest before eBay bend me over backwards. Maybe someone happens to have a nice E39 M5 out there
Thanks for opinions though I think 4k would be fair considering the current climate. Also thanks Kareen, nothing mad at all just stocksih looking, good power and sounds lovely, well in my opinion anyway.
