I'm about to get mine done next weds, appaerntly it's a right bitch to do.
The exhaust from the downpipe back is a piece of **** but changing the downpipe (with the main cat in) is the hard bit. true you have to take the intercooler off, and the bolts holding the downpipe onto the turbo are most of the time a royal pain in the *** to get off with them snapping in extreme cases...
hope that helps.

i passed a police van, accelerating hard in third as he was parked up, he caught a few miles later when i was in a 30 limit, pulled me told me my exhaust was noisy, told a lie , that my p1 just has the optional back box, he asked me to blip the throttle a few times, then he apologised, said it had sounded louder when i passed him and off i went, thats with a full ss system
