Evo VI running costs?

Considering one of these next.
What are they like to own?
I do quite a few miles, so don't want to buy a money pit.
Current Scoob isn't costing me too much, but not keen on 2nd generation shape.

If you're considering it as an everyday car then DON'T DO IT appears to be every scooby owners view (even the ones who haven't driven one )
I've done 36,000 miles in mine in just over a year and it gets driven every day without any problems. I still have all my own teeth and none have fallen out from the ride.
Admittedly, I visit the petrol station more often than a scooby but I still get on average about 200-220 miles from a full tank and if I worry about fuel consumption then I don't buy an Evo or a scooby.
Insurance can be high depending on where you live but this is the same with a scooby (I'm paying £1400 fully comp). The only disadvantage is the 4,500 mile service interval but that's the price you pay for having a car that everyone wants to look at, talk about and go for a ride in Average service from Ralliart (expensive labour) is around £250ish which isn't too bad.
Test drive one, compare it to your scooby and make your own mind up. This is the only way to find out if its for you.

Mine used to do 130 miles per tankful and I was not alone with those figures. Every one of those miles were such fun but it had to go as too costly for my pocket!

Tim,
You obviously didn't drive it everyday then and didn't learn that you don't have to drive it flat out everywhere even though it is very hard to resist doing that....
If you do push on then I've seen fuel consumption drop into single figures :O but driven reasonable sensibly everyday then you can get the figures I quoted.
