Default Eight hours so far - missing Scooby already !

Took the old bus in for the new clutch to be fitted this morning.

GOD I'm missing it already, had to collect coilies from Apex in Bradford, begged a lift from KojaK but I'm sat here eating Digestives and drinking coffee.

Feel like I'm going cold turkey.... ARGH !

lol, i'll tell you something worse than that mate, i quite possibly would have sold my car tomorrow. had a guy very interested, coming from bloody miles away, virtually a done deal.

i'm outside clearing the car out and giving it a hover out and had the most surreal moment, got all emotional and phoned him up to stop him from setting out as i couldn't go through with it.

what a gayer

i would be in the same boat mate, i just couldn't do it

what's wrong with us enthusiasts? told my mate about what i'd done (or not done) and he was gobsmacked. granted every penny he earns gets sucked up with kids etc but he thought i was a loon for not having a bank account full of cash

I think he should !

I can't believe the *hit bigarf has been through, whilst impartially allowing for the two sides of the story to be told !

dunx

P.S. I sat with him for four hours waiting for the AA to recover the car.... Muker is nearly on another planet to the AA.

To slag off someone whilst your car is in their garage isn't exactly the most diplomatic thing to do is it?

No ! But for two weeks of it he (allegedly !) went on holiday, as I said both sides needed.

For instance I heard a story about Chy stripping an engine to replace the pistons because the customer didn't like noisy forged ones, that deserves respect from me or anyone.

Sorry mate I'm the bad guy who took your baby - I'll look after it though. I know how it feels to lose your car I wrote mine's off (slipped on black ice at about 10 MPH - repair quote £6,400!) and I have been driving a silly £300 1.3 L reg Honda Civic for the last couple of months. Feels awesome to have my 'scooby smile' back again - thanks! Just about sleeping though after my 600 mile round trip.

Yes Chy has been on holiday for two weeks and only returned on Monday. My car has not missed a beat in 9 months running 450bhp and is a daily driver.

Dunx, Chy also offered to replace the forged pistons on mine as I did not like the noise of them but I declined the offer as the car has been faultless up to press.

My friend runs his old demo car and that is running a 2.5cdb and a 321t+ at 448bhp and 470lb/ft of torque and is dot on. He is also building me a 600bhp 2.5 classic, that is not something you could trust many people to do.

I've heard good and bad, I wouldn't want to take sides, having never met the guy....

But bigarf's troubles aren't pretty, and I'll leave it there.

carn't say as i was slagging anyone off just merely stating a fact.if i wanted to slag chy off i would have done it for the past 9 months that i have been having nothing but trouble with my car.and i must say a lot of people on here that have had half the trouble that i have would have done.not many people know the **** i have had to put up with because i havnt blurted it all over sn,but dunx is someone who knows first hand of my problems as he has seen most of it for himself.why is it that just because some people on here get on with certain tuners that they wont have a bad word said about them, even when they dont know how they treat other people.
