Default 2.0 or 2.2..

Im looking a buying a cdb off a mate, its going to be a summer project until winter when the car will be taken off the road.
I was woundering if it was worth stroking it to a 2.2 or keeping it traditional, eather way its going the forged route its gotta be done
Im not after major power upto 450max really as i want to keep it relativly reliable. I think its a phase 1.5 block which is from a 98ra.. dont know is im right or just chatting out of my rear
Are there any modifications that need to be made to the block when stroking it and is it actuall worth it?
advice in any form welcome

just keep as the 2ltr but add a 2.5ltr crank and it will take it up to 2.1.

All CDB's are centre thrust mate, in order to stroke it with the later 79mm crank you will need to have the block machined to accept the new rear thrust crank. Definitely the best option in my book. Good Luck
