wireing my alarm for central locking

hi trying to wire my cental locking up thro alarm and its only locking the other 3 doors not the drivers door is this normal do i need another part (subaru impreza 1997 u.k)

It could have something to do with the circuit - the drivers door is the only door which cannot be locked by locking inside and holding handle up.

heard something about needing a actuator is this true
