Default Had my car on the rollers

Hi I have owned my car just over a year now, its a 1996 impreza wrx import, It was completly standard when i got it.

I have now added:

front mount intercooler
3" decat down pipe and blitz nur spec cat back zaust
blitz induction kit
dump valve

Thats it I have no boost controllers or any thing like that, and I havnt had it mapped

It made 323bhp @ 6254 rpm and 287lb ft torque.

is this safe.

It depends on your fueling! Id ditch the pointless VTA bypass valve though.

no offence mate but that is a very high figure for that spec i would say it should read 260max without a remap

Yup I agree.

I'll stick my neck out and say that figure is not possible without properly set up control of the boost and fueling through either a re-mappable ECU or bleed valve/fuel cut-off arrangement.

A 323 bhp WRX should feel bonkers fast compared to standard. Does it?

it has some form of boost control for sure.
Otherwise it would run just under a bar.

Which rollers was it?

It's certianly had some friggin done with it, a std ECU won't let the car run at 1.4bar will it? Fuel cut comes in long before then, and if it isn't coming in NO it is not safe, there's no way it can be fueling properly!

my old 93WRX with 3"HKS down pipe (Decat), Blitz Nur Spec R, K&N induction kit, TD05 (as std), Walbro, and remap to 1.25 bar saw just shy of 300bhp

but theres hardly any performance improving mods there?????
its got a FMIC to reduce charge temps ...not a great hp improver on a TMIC at thwese figures unless heat soak is an issue
and a free'er flowing zorst - which would allow the car to produce more bhp, if it was set up for it
1.4bar is a LOT of boost...std is 0.7 isnt it?

must be more to this than meets the eye
