Question How many of you have ever come across one of your old cars up for sale?

Just out of curiosity?
I was just browsing pistonheads and came across this!
Subaru : subaru impreza
Now if you look at view my scooby
Apart from the wheels (I had anthracite 17 inch PD7's), painted side skirts, HKS filter and the lack of door protectors, its pretty much as i remember her And if it would have been 2 months earlier i may have been tempted to buy her back

No joy, sadly... I know the guy who bought my old MY00 off me sold it again after a year or so, but I've no idea what happened to it after that

Wouldn't mind it back, so if anyone recognises this car, do get in touch...

i sold a type r at 3pm on a friday to a Subaru enthusiast

turns out he was a trader full of ****, it was back on Auto Trader within a 4/5 hours £1400 more than i sold it for

thing is the reg number was visible on both adverts so everytime i got a call about it i advised the person that it was a cat c and that i had sold it to a trader really cheap to get rid of it

the trader called me and gave it the big one over the phone, i said

he sold it in the end though a little cheaper than he would have liked

You won't beat this ......

Last year I was pointed to my old Ford Cortina GT MK3, which was on e-bay ...... 30 years after I sold it!!!

It had just 2 owners since I sold it, I sold it to a mate and he sold it about 26 years ago to the person who was selling it last year!!

I loved that car .......

my brother in laws parents had an old Beetle that was rotten been off the road for 12 years, it was given to a friend of mine

a bit of t-cut and an e-bay advert later it fetched £300 and jobs a good un

12 months later my brother in laws parents get a knock at the door saying your car has been involved in an accident and there was a fatality also the vehicle is now some kind of trike

they were not best pleased and my mate was interviewed by the police

I had this a few years back when I sold my old Cosworth 3-door. I had had it for 11 years and spent £000s on an engine rebuild, new suspension and anything else that needed doing. A couple of months after I sold it the chap had it up for more than he paid - quoting the £000s I had spent on it .

Still miss that car, but I've never been able to trace it again.

My old impreza turned up on here after having a head on crash. It was for sale for someone to fix up. Not sure if anyone bought it from here though.
Wonder if its back on the road...........

I sold my Impreza and then no more than a month later it was back up for sale by the lad. I offered to buy it off him but he wanted more than I offered. He has since tried to sell a few other cars on here and when I confronted him about not giving my number plate back he got all cocky about making money out of me. I pointed out that his comments would be going to HMRC and he edited all his posts. I banned the little c*cksh1Te when he tried to sell a TT on here a few weeks ago.

Having said all that if my old Impreza ever appears for sale and looks like its been well looked after I would buy it back without question.

I think it still has the same plate too. An RAC check of the plate comes up as an Impreza.
