Default clutch needs fitting

i now have it got it this morning so anyone with the no how fancy a bit of cash 100 quid to anyone that can do it for me ;-) im in essex

my garage originally were charging me 180 to fit the clutch but its gonna cost me more than that now as my flywheels cracked

your best getting a garge to do it mate just incase as its a ******* of a job

really guys just thought there must be a semi pro mechanic on here that would do it for a nice 100 notes ;-( garages charge so bloody much

I dont think a mechanic will get out of bed for 100 quid to fit a scoob clutch tbh, for example i had a 1.8TD mondeo that needed a clutch, (and this was a very reasonably priced place i went to), clutch £50, fitting £250 because its a right beeeeetch.

Out of interest how long does it take to repace the clutch on a classic?

Don't forget the flywheel, if you don't at least get it skimed, then the new clutch won't bed in properly.

Done the last 2 clutch changes for £130 but im near buxton in derbyshire sorry mate

id be more then willing to give it a go ive got jacks ramps and probably all the tools needed too but wouldnt have a clue where to start or what could go wrong either im replacing clutch and flwheel for a single plated exedy it currently has a d/plated hks

i did mine on a driveway in about 3-4 hours on stands , a tad awkward but easy enough .



stick another 50 on the 100 and u will get a bite id emagine
