Because its fappin huge and theres no need for it to be THAT big, Darlin

If this site needs that much endorsement maybe it should cut down somewhere/manage itself better,if that means cutbacks, hey, cut back.

What sort of cut backs can a forum do ? no seriously ? I would assume its main costs would be server ?

i suppose that can only be answered when Scoobynet decides if its a business run forum or just a forum.

Once that is decided, then that question can be answered i guess.

A site like this needs some serious server power and a lot of bandwidth. That doesn't come cheap well not with reliability as well.

Remember a few years a go when the site was on old hardware and a dodgy connection. It was down more than it was up.

Yes the ad is large and in your face, but if it helps one of my favourite sites to always be here when I want it to be so be it.

Text doesn't require bandwidth. Java-advert-webby-piccies does.

anyone that thinks this site has been purchased by IB to run soley as a subaru forum is nuts, they have bought it for the advertising opportunties. 90k members and x amount of hits a day is all they are interested in, granted stu is a nice bloke that knows his car forums, but at the end of the day scoobynet is one thing and one things only, a sales opportunity.
