what exhaust
hi everyone.
i am after a new rear box but not sure what to go for, so can anyone help me decide.
i am looking for one that really gives a good sound from the flat four at idle and has a good roar when you open it up.
i dont want it really loud for long driving but something thats a headturner and that people know thats a scooby.
options:
TSL firestorm.
ninja 1 or 2
TSL group n
nur spec r (been told this is loud so maybe not a good idea).
any opinons will help and if anyone has got some sound files that wouls be great.
cheers

I would say the nur spec is the best sounding one but it is loud, i went for the afterburner vortex not as loud as the blitz so is alright for long journeys and sounds spot on in my opinion. It comes alive so to speak when you give it some which it sounds like your after.

yeah interesting.
I was looking at the afterburner R or the sports box from scoobyworld. Anyone use these.
Im after the same, u can tell its a scoob, and sounds good when you boot it. But i dont want a stupidly loud idle and same on motorway. and has to stick within 100db for the track..

I had a TSL firestorm on my last scoob, that was loud, almost as loud as a Blitz nur spec. I now have a ninja on my current scoob and I reckon the sound is just right.

i've kept my 3" decat downpipe and just changed my 3 " system to the buddy club spec iv
its got a delicious race tone when opened up at mid/high revs and really emphasizes the burble at idle
funny thing is its almost unnoticeable in the car when motorway cruising
may not be everyones taste but i think it looks as well
cheers

TSL Firestorm for me too.
Especially with a straight through centre section too.
Keep an eye on the for sale section, I managed to get a cat back system for £160 (Firestorm box, H&S Centre) - and sold my old Prodrive back box for £115 on ebay.
Sounds just right now, even feels like it's breathing better.
Bargain!
Second Cat is next - and leave the Prodrive Sport Cat for MOT.
