Question

Does anyone have a colour code (if one exists) for the standard 16" five spoke gold STi rims off a Sonic Blue MY98 Type R ?

Cheers but do you know a manufacturer code as we don't have a Halfords here (small island and all that) and I want to get it sorted asap.

Thanks for the post.

Don't know Martin personally but he did go to the same school, as did Mark Higgins (year ahead of me). Had any of their talent rubbed off I wouldn't be needing to spray up some grey STi wheels to replace the two which I marked up at the weekend in a back road incident !

Cheers

Living here has its up & downs. Great roads for the Scooby and no speed limits out of town are two of the ups ! Going to get worse though as they're thinking about bringing in a 60mph limit and gatsos. :-(

I haven't heard about any specific tours but Duke's have been running track days at Jurby. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they're doing a tour as well during TT week though. The owner, Peter Duke, likes his Subarus (he has a 22B)and he brought my car in from new for the previous owner together with a new V-Limited for himself.
We have Mad Sunday during TT week where they make the mountain section of the course 1 way for a day and its a free for all. Its a must if you come over but take at least one passenger to watch behind or you'll clobber some biker as he goes to pass.

The speed limit law was rejected 18 months ago by 1 vote and I believe they're going to bring it again this year. It will include the whole island including all of the TT course ! They're also bringing a bill to allow gatsos and have already hired the first mobile ones for the TT so I understand.
The beginning of the end......
