Question

Can someone explain to me how power is measured on an Auto. I was told that with a manual you go to full revs and then engage the clutch but whats the score with an auto. Will a rolling road fry an auto box???

the same way a manual transmission is measured, the car is driven on to the rollers straped down 10 monkeys sit on your bonet and drive is engaged they then slowley bring up the revs until just before red line watching the fueling as they go

hope this answers any relevant questions
