boring bits

Default boring bits

so as we all know theres a million and one different places to buy go faster bits for your impreza

but wheres good for boring bits like wheel bearings etc

I think my offside rear ones gone, do I need to do both rear ones if im doing one?

Ebays good for most little bits!

And no you don't need to do anyother bearings (but dso get them checked)

You only need to do the other one if it's rough or noisy. Don't forget you'll need a hydraulic press too. If you don't have one, speak to your local garage and see how much they will press it for you. Should only cost you £10 or so.

The rear bearings are £35 on eBay, not tried anywhere else yet but I think my rear O/S is going too so if you find anywhere else, give me a shout!

funny, I,ve noticed my car is slightly noisier than I remember at around 40mph and above

And I thought it could be the rear wheel bearings -- is this your symptoms

Prob will be mate, it can easily be mistaken for a rear diff noise too.
Jack the car up and spin the wheel, listening for a rough noise (not discs) then give it a.... Pull? Tug? and check for any play...

Top and bottom of the wheel and pull/tug if you can move the wheel then you prob need a new bearing! Make sure you spin the wheel and repeat test!
