Im looking for the above
It would be a weekend car.Im looking till about the version 4.

either or,they are both essentially the same car albeit with a lower gear ratio on the RA.Personally i wouldnt bother geting a car without the electrics and other gubbins unless you are competing in motorsport competition as there really is nothing in them once moving. All suspention components are identical so no handling advantage to be had (standard v standard)

Do you want comfort or discomfort?
the standard STi will be the more comfortable of the 2, the ra will be ra(w)er (little pun there ) than the standard car.
If you do any motorway driving the RA will be screaming, the STI will be cruising, both will be quick, but its not about out and out performance, the ra will be slightly quicker overall due to the closer gear ratio's but you get a trade off with that, noise being one of them.

I have an ra and I use it everyday. I think it's great, I do 50 mph and it's doing 3000 rpm. Plus you get the dccd so sideways is an option. I went for it for it rawness and I love it. Get the ra imo.
