Basically wanted a cheaper to run car that was newer etc but still fun etc and bought this...

Really nice example with both cup packs..auto zenons..climate..cruise etc etc but i just miss the whole scooby experience

Iam thinking about doing the same as yourself.....Thanks to the credit crunch it makes you look very closely at your money and also the scooby parked on the drive!!!!

There`s very few cars on the market that have as many great features as the impreza and once you sell ya pride and joy.....Thats when the regret sets in......I dont want that!!!!!!

unfortunately, when you sell your car and downgrade power-wise you will always regret it, its happened to me lots in the past. It seems like a good idea at the time but as soon as you see someone else in their scooby it makes you want another one.
I sold mine 9 days ago and to be honest im not really missing it yet, although this could be due to the fact my brother has'nt been round in his since and there's a shiny audi s4 sat on the drive instead.

You might just get away with it with an S4 mate, it's not really a down-grade is it? Apart from the scooby burble....

I've not posted for a while, but my scooby went in March, I miss my scooby and so does the missus. We got a new lancer gs4 D, its a great car miles better comfort and a decent stereo lol !! its amazing on fuel and miles cheaper to run. BUT IT AIN'T A SCOOBY !! If it was all wheel drive it minght make me slighly less envious of scoobies.

I chopped my bugeye in for the new 08 STi. The new one is faster, more comfortable and a better family car. God I miss the blue paint, gold wheels, my friends telling me I should grow up etc... I also miss the back to basics feel.

Best thing though is renting a car on holiday, they are all so unremittingly awful that no matter what you have back home it is good to get back.

But is the Renau any good ?

A couple near me but they still eye-ball my bug-eye in that strange way

I had a laugh last night, trashed a "bouy" in a Golf GTI without going over 4000 rpm.

You'll be back, if you don't lose too much on your lasses shopping trolley

Sorry !

My clio 172 was quicker than I thought, revved like a bugger, but not much torque. Was great on fuel though, for a quick-ish car.

Not regretting my sale yet, nearly 2 months ago. I'm driving around in a 12 year old swb pajero 2.8, not even remotely sporty!

Well the clio will be going soon! Just put a full set of Conti Contact 2's on her so it's ready.

Running costs are really good..get 300+ miles to a tank around town and more like 370 on a run..Insurance went from £1K a year to £400..tax is the same though.Like most performance cars though bits aren't cheap and with it being french they are needed more than usual! lol

Anyone wanna swap there scooby for it?? Worth about 5K.
