I know this has been asked before and I think the answer was that there is no way of switching off the email notification???

Before you ask - No I won't tell you which thread,
and - I haven't switch on the email notification for this thread either!

Your correct in your assumptions.

AFAIK there is no way at present to turn it off, but i think SDB said it was something hhe was going to consider in the future.

An even better idea would be to temporarily change your e-mail address to Imatrukahs' so that he gets all the notifications...

Unfortunatly though when you change the email address it sends out another password so he'd have access to post as you...

.....and you wouldn't be able to change it back as you wouldn't know the password.

Well... you could create a Hotmail account and set that all up, then subscribe etc to threads... then turn on mail forwarding from that account to Imatrukahs' address Ooohhhh... I'm evil sometimes

Well if you really just want to get at someone imparticular then you could just subscribe his email address to lots of new letters,
and ask for advise on lots of silly medical sites.... giving his email address of course...

Once filled in a fan club application for a mate from a pop group he hates, steps I think it was, took weeks to come through but he got an introduction pack and everything

Ahhh, you've done what is known as a Maffa. Only he told the muppets which thread he'd done it on and his mailbox died under the strain.
