r5gtt vs uk classic my00
just a quickie guys my mates just sold his scooby and brought a r5 turbo with a stage 3 hybrid turbo and engine bits and bobs its got some lag but when it gets going its f**king fast id do him on pull off but once he gets goning hes gone i know his motors smaller and got better power to weight but what sort of power would i need to do him? hes running 230bhp proven ive got uk my00 with decat 5inch back box uprated panel filter any input would be good thanks

Well an R5 weighs in at like 870kg, a classic impreza is 1270kg, 400kg difference, you would need a nice 300bhp to keep up with him in a straight line, but he will suffer on damp surfaces and corners unless he has a good LSD up front.

A renault 5 GT turbo is a clear 2-300 KG lighter than a classc impreza, maybe even more
Your gona have to have way way more power than him
if he has a proven 230 BHP id say your gona need atleast 350 ish but you should be more interested in torque than BHP

They're mental little cars! My mate has a Raider, with about 180bhp, even thats well quick. BUT it spins in 1st, 2nd, 3rd........ Traction wins races!

i know mate but when hes stopped spinning he is off!! tunnel vison aint the word its ok pulling away from him but he soon catches up!! and loses me lol
