why so much
how is it the lighter the flywheel the more expensive it is as your getting less metal for your money 
only reason i can think of is that it must be harder to machine/balance

same reason ferrari take all the toys out of a car, carpets, the lot, you dont even get an adjustable seat, then they stick a scuderia tag on it and charge 30K more, same with Porsche etc
