Impreza Sport Prices
My wife is thinking about changing her Golf mk4 to an Impreza Sport. Now I had one a as a company car 10 years ago and it was okay. So, I've been looking at Autotrader and the prices vary considerably; what's the going rate for one - she'd like a Sport Special in yellow (women!). I've seen one on Ebay at £3,495! - 2000 X Reg Subaru Impreza Sport Limited Edition Yellow on eBay, also, Subaru, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 10-Jan-09 21:00:41 GMT) but that's a lot of money for a MY00 non turbo.

Does seem a lot. But its probably down to a dealer overpricing as usual, and maybe a bit extra being a limited edition.

You can get a decent w reg standard sport with about 70-80k on it for about £1500 i have seen
You can get ones ALOT cheaper but they may be abused but then again they may be a bargain
I paid well swapped my Focus worth about 2k for the Sport i have its had alot of work done to it ;-)

Thanks for the comments.
I agree it's only worth what someone will pay for it. I spoke to the garage and it's 'mint, well looked after, in good condition' etc, etc. He would maybe drop to £3200 for cash
I'll check out ImprezaSport.net - I forgot about the site, it's been a whilse since I've been on there. Good call!
Cheers

u can pick up some on autotrader with low miles for around the £2000 mark,
i would say ude be better of spending a bit more an getting a turbo, but i know insurance is a prob for a lot of people,
ii drove a sport an found it so under powered, lose so mush power with the 4x4, i bought a vectra sri then, cracking little car,
ps im not haven ago at sports just given my opinion,

Sport Special Edition in black with mods (exterior) bought in Feb 05 for £3250 with only 42,000miles on the clock.
Like Connor said above, there is a mint white one on Imprezasport.net

Bought my scooby sport in october. Think it was £2760 or there abouts.
108k on the clock, full service history, S reg. pretty good condition car, MOT for 12 months too. best money I've spent in a long time.
