ignorant subaru driver
#1
I have been thinking of getting a Subaru WRX Turbo for a bit but I am concerned about the sort of people that drive them. I saw one yesterday and, to get a better look, I followed it for about 20 minutes. He kept driving faster, think he was showing off, but I managed to stay with him. Then, as we were both accelerating, the traffic lights turned to red. He slammed on (good brakes) and my XR2 (crap brakes) just cuaght the backend, causing hardly any damage. Anyway, I jumped out and ran to his door to apologise. He didn’t get out of his car. He had stalled and was messing with his keys, I said “leave your keys and just get out” but he wouldn’t. He used some words that I shouldn’t publish on here. My two mates from the abattoir (that were in my car) saw it all and couldn’t believe it neither. He just drove straight off.
Anyway, I hope not all subaru drivers are that ignorant. If I see him again I think I’ll follow at more of a distance.

oh Hum
Did you and your mates have your baseball caps on backwards ?
and by telling him to leave his keys (he may have spotted your baseball bat) and get out perhaps he thought you were a thug ?
Flame suit on
edited because it must be a wind up he can spell.....

Is this not a muppet wind-up post?
You followed him for 20 mins, then crashed into his bumper. Did he say something like "go away you car-jacking bar steward..."?
Don't know why he didn't just lose you, unless XR2s have got a helluva lot quicker in the 10 years since I owned mine.
bald-rick - nice name, but stick to the turnips.
Mike.

This has got to be confined to the muppet forum.
"I followed it for about 20 minutes"
"I said leave your keys and just get out"
"My two mates from the abattoir "
"He just drove straight off" mmmmmm? Can't think why

This is better than the Muppet Forum!
So you "followed" him, flashing your lights to signal your appreciation of his car, and driving close to encourage him to show it off.
You then drove into the back of him, and decided it would be a good opportunity to show him some of the abatoir knives (knifes?)....heck....a guy that appreciates Scoobies will appreciate top grade meat slicing equipment yeah?
When you and your mates all jumped out (still covered in blood as said above....hehe) and offered to show him that "there's no damage mate!" he declined.
Ignorant b4stard!

What a tw@t !
Sorry mate but it is YOUR fault, what the hell do you expect, him to get out and be really happy about a bunch of **** driving into the back of him after following him for 20 minutes? I really hope he got your plate and reported you to the police (not that they will do anything about it :-/ )
Hopefully next time you do it someone will get out and give you a good hiding because that is what you deserve. Why did you feel the need to follow him for 20 minutes?
Keep eating the offal, maybe it'll polish you off.
M
Oh... you 'managed to keep up'? hmm, he must have been in 1st gear...

"I have been thinking of getting a Subaru WRX Turbo for a bit but I am concerned about the sort of people that drive them."
The thing that concerns me is that a **** like you might own one. Public transport is designed with dorks like you in mind. Use it.
"Bloke can't be much of a driver if and xr2 can stay with him for 20 mins."
Perhaps he does not want to lose his license and was in a restricted zone. You don't actually have to beat an XR2 to prove you have a big *****. If you do then you probably don't.

I`m very disappointed that so many people on this bbs are being so calous towards this poor guy.
Sometimes things can go very wrong during childbirth and a bad forceps delivery can cause serious problems, we should count ourselves lucky that we don`t have to face the same mountain that this guy has to climb everyday.

I expect next time he sees you he'll wave, or if you and your mates crash into him he'll get out a shake your hand and say 'hey m8 glad to meet you at last...'
Kinda don't know what you expected here... most Scoob drivers are pretty considerate, but tell you what if you'd been chasing me for 20 minutes with two heavies in the car I'd have pulled into the nearest police station and then queried your motives.
If you want attention then sadly this is not the way to have gone about it.
