I have just been to see how much a ski rack would cost and the bu99er's want to charge me £100 ex vat Has anyone in the South East area got one which I could rent off them for a week? I have a MY99 saloon.

Kingsize,
Try a mail order surfing company like Tiki based in Devon. I'm sure they have a web site. If you order one you may need an extra set of cords to thread through the car. The racks come with pads and stuff so the roof doesnt get damaged and special fittings to actually hold the boards/skis on top.
It works quite well and you can still shut the windows without leaks. I use mine for w'end surf trips. If you're gonna use your roof rack alot though a fixed system is probably best.
