TRACKER QUESTION
hi every1. i bought my g-friend a bugeye for xmas and were having trouble insuring it because all the compnies we get in touch with ask 4 tracker details, how do we know if theres 1 fitted and do all imprezas have to have 1 4 the insurance? the guy at the garage we bought it from has no idea,when i bought my blob i got all the info with the car.

However, to the OP - i had this problem when i bought my Blob. Keith Michaels couldn't cover me because i hadn't owned the car for a year and experience counts (the fact i had done advanced driving/skidpan etc and was moving from a Supra didn't count).
In the end Tesco was much cheaper but needed a Tracker. I think the RACTrakstar is the most common and it is the one i have. You could call them up and ask, if it does have one then you may only need to pay the subscription not the fitting (£300).
Even with the cost of the Tracker Tesco were £100 less than KM. Obviously once i had my year's experience (and i modified the car) I moved to KM immediately.
