Subaru don't make 'em.
And the one above took hours of delicate work, but no metal was cut whatsoever.
There was one made in the states, but it looks a shed.
You could of course try a delfino feroce?

Subaru did make a prototype convertible Impreza - saw it in the Haynes book "You & Your Impreza Turbo". Haven't got it here at work but will scan a pic in for you lot tomorrow!
Needless to say it didn't take off!
(had no wings....! D'oh!)

Yep - beat me to it. That's the pic (which I just spent 10 mins scanning in this morning!)
In case you wanted to know where I saw this pic, it's in a great book called:
"You & Your Impreza Turbo - Buying, enjoying, maintaining, modifying"
Although it's published by Haynes, it's not a workshop manual and has a full history of the car we all love! Written by a chap called Chris Rees - the book was mentioned in the last issue of the SIDC as well if I remember correctly.
I got a mate to pick it up from a bookshop in Isleworth (called Chaters) for £18.
Sweet!
Chris
BTW - I do not work for Haynes! Just think it's a great book for any scooby enthusiast!
